Urbanmoms.ca is an amazing online resource for moms and moms-to-be in North America. It hosts numerous interesting blogs on subjects such as latest entertainment news, modern day moms-tips, travelling, crafts and weight management. Experts give advice on education, financial management, fitness, work and life.

They have informative reviews on products that we all use as moms on day to day basis. They also have a section on movies and books reviews that I like to refer to before I hit the book or video store.

Fun promotions and exciting contests are also part of this online community. Their latest contests prize is Hannah Montana Movie DVD!

My favourite stop is the lounge where you get to read member blogs and inspirational stories of mom entrepreneurs. A collection of real life stories about how moms juggle the challenges of starting and manging their businesses while raising little munchkins. This week their Market Place features my story as a mom and an entrepreneur. Be sure to check it out and share your views!

Merchants' Day - Canada Life Building

On April 01, 2009 we will be participating in the Merchants' Day event at the Canada Life Building on 190 Simcoe Street, 2nd floor, Corporate Conference Centre. The event will from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.

We will have a booth displaying our beautiful baby gifts and baby shower favours. We will also be giving away a gorgeous spa basket to a lucky winner! If you working in the area do come and check us out.

Even though we will be processing orders that day and deliveries will be on schedule, we will not be able to answer phone calls or emails during this time period. We will be back in our offices and return all messages by end of day. Please be assured, that all orders placed that day will be processed on schedule.

New Diaper Cakes!

We have been working hard this year designing new diaper cakes and baby gifts. We are very excited to unveil our first batch of freshly 'baked' diaper cakes (more to come so stay tuned!) We tried to include a variety of looks including a 4 tier design. Don't forget, many of our cakes are available in 1,2,3 and 4 tiers so just drop us a line if you like a particular design and we will customize it for you.

Baby Shower Favors - Jungle Safari Theme

Our Wrapped Up! favours service has kept us really busy this winter and we hope would be even more busy in the spring/summer/fall! We have done weddings, bridal showers, baby showers and even holiday party favours this season.

This past weekend, we made these adorable baby shower favours for a very special mom-to-be. Baby's sex is unknown so the hostess choose the ever popular and fun Jungle Safari theme. Apart from the fun aspect of the theme, the warm colours were perfect to cheer the mom-to-be and guests in these cold winter months.

Simple animal print sachet-style bags were filled with sweet jelly beans and chocolates - yum! Tied with ribbons and including personalized tags, these favours made the perfect gifts for the baby shower guests.

The shower decorations included our must-have Jungle-Safari themed diaper cake, yellow/white Baby Blooms bouquet and other jungle themed goodies.

Winter Weddings

It's winter wedding season and it can be as beautiful as any other time of the year! The pristine white backdrop adds a magical touch to weddings and winter themes are such fun to work with.

Even though planning and preparations can be different for weddings in this season there are a few advantages as well. Since its off season, you will find more availabilties with top vendors and could end up with some great deals.

We had two weddings to design favors for this weekend. Above is a picture of one of the wedding favors that were 6"inch quilted pattern cones filled with delicious goodies including Ferero Rocher chocolates!
